Leadership & Mentoring
How do we create change in the world (especially when the world sometime seems determined to resist change)?
What is success?
How do we align our values with our careers when a sense of urgency around climate action seems to be MIA?
What is a good organisational match for my career stage, interests and natural inclination?
Is ‘change from the inside’ possible, or worth waiting around for?
These are some of the questions I consider when I talk to undergrad and post-graduate students through my lecture series, or to my mentees and ‘frientors’.
Creating and delivering new approaches of any kind can be hard work and lonely. Organisations or individuals in them are often not as supportive as you might like – even when you have been brought on board to do what you are doing. How do we overcome these challenges and keep smiling (mostly?).
